I love seeing God reflected in nature! Recently I went to the McKee Besher’s Wildlife Management Area in Maryland. There I found thirty acres of sunflowers waiting for the sun to rise. Facing east, waiting in the predawn mist. Waiting for the sun to come over the treeline. They were a congregation of creation worshipping the creator.
“Worship me in the beauty of holiness. I created beauty to declare the existence of My Holy Being. A magnificent rose, a hauntingly glorious sunset, oceanic splendor—all these things were meant to proclaim My Presence in the world.” (Jesus Calling, July 30, Sarah Young)
Do I wait so patiently for God to be visible in my presence? What I am doing to arrange my life to see God? How am I doing proclaiming God’s presence in my life and in my world?
